NOVÉ HRADY CHATEAU

Destination: Nové Hrady Chateau, duration approx. 3,5 hours

Subject: Attractions, life stories of the Czech aristocary

Programe: The Nové Hrady Chateau built in the 16th century in the Rococo style reminds of the French summer residences. For its unique architecture and location the Chateau is sometimes called the "Czech Versailles". A nearby situated renovated Baroque grain barn houses The First Czech Cycling Museum and its unique collection of historical bicykles thad is also worth seeing. Admission: 50 CZK - 100 CZK.

PARDUBICE GINGERBREAD

Destination: Gingerbread shop producing genuine Pardubice gingerbread. Duration approx. 3.5 hours.

Topic: Regional traditions

Subject: Regional gastronomy

Programe: Visit one of the shops in Pardubice where the traditional gingerbread is produced, and see the skilled gingerbread makers at work. You will also have a change to taste and buy the products and take with you several gingerbread recipes. Admission approx. 50 CZK/person (depending on the shop visited).

OPEN-AIR MUSEUM VESELÝ KOPEC

Destination: A collection of folk buildings of the Vysočina region. A picturesque open-air museum is situated in an ideal landscape.

Topic: The life and work of small farmes and artisans in the 19th and 20th century.

Subject: Českomoravská vrchovina Highlands know and unknown.

Programe: You will visit the well known open-air museum Veselý Kopec a part of which - a small  artisans´ quarter called Betlém - is situated in Hlinsko, we will also stop in the village of Svobodné Hamry famous for its unique preserved water iron-mill. You will not want to leav, the open-air museum will certainly enchant you. Admission: 35 - 50 CZK.

SLATIŇANY STUD

Destination: Slatiňany stud (the Old Kladruby Horse - black horse) and Slatiňany Chateau. Duration approx. 4 hours.

Subject: Horse, a companion of man, unforgettable stories

Programe: In the past the complex housed racehorses, today there is a branch of the National Stud in Kladruby nad Labem breeding the Old Kladruby Black Horse, another of the living Baroque gems originating in the 16th century. After seeing the grandeur and beauty of the Old Kladruby Horses you will visit the Slatiňany Chateau, wich houses a Hippology Museum. The museum exhibition situated in the Chateau built in the 16th century in place of a Gothic castle presents horse as a loyal commpanion of man and his artistic inspiration. Admission: 90 CZK - 150 CZK. Horses can be presented to you for 300 CZK/presented horse.
